Hey Brian,
I've been getting a lot of questions lately about an Online 1004mc solution. Would the 1004MC Total Solution© be the one for me to point them to? I really appreciate your work here and on your AppraisalScoop blog - and if you stand by this product - I'll link it from my blog as well...
Drop a line as you're able. I'm interested in learning more about the online nature of the 1004MC.

Kevin - In full disclosure - It should be obvious that the developer, David Braun, is an advertiser on ScoopGear! (wink).
David sent me a "test" copy of the software, but after some early issues (see FAQs above) he suggested that I wait on the install until he sent me an updated copy this week.
You can view a sample report and video from the links above. Not having RUN the software, the output is some of the most comprehensive that I've seen. It expands on the basic 1004MC form's time frames, includes graphical representations, and a narrative section to explain the results.
Fannie Mae is supposed to be announcing some changes to the 1004MC this week. They're minor changes but will have a big impact on the "math" of this sort of programmed form.
David has shown to be very responsive to his customers.
One KEY component is that his software template requires Excel 2007 to run properly.
After David sends me the updated version, I'll give it a run-through with my MLS (Paragon) data and report back on the Appraisal Scoop and Scoop Gear.

I noticed Excel 2003 and 2007 versions are mentioned. Will 1004MC Total Solutions work on an older version like Excel 2000 or 2002?

Brian, is there a way to link to this particular product? I've told several people about it but can't get a link to just this product, only the appraisalscoop page.

PD - I'd link to http://www.scoopgear.com/automated-valuation-techn.html or to http://www.AppraisersWaterCooler.com/Group/AVT

How do you add comps that are not in your MLS database to your report?
